The Crisis The Vision

It is estimated that about 12.7 million metric tons of waste pollutes our oceans, a good majority of it being plastic. The lack of infrastructure among coastal countries is a significant contributor to this dilemma. By 2025, this number is anticipated to increase to 127 million metric tons.1 This increase in pollution results in loss of life, loss of ecosystems and an increased strain on water resources. We cannot let this happen. We must do something about this before it's too late.

Earth's Bodies of Water are Becoming Increasingly Polluted at an Alarming Rate

The exponential increase in trash that pollutes our oceans, lakes, and other bodies of water impacts local habitats and contaminates our sources of water. Aquari seeks to address this time-sensitive issue with the power of cryptocurrency. Raised capital from a percentage of the coin transactions buys equipment, hires specialists, provides for laborers, and ensures that most necessities are provided for each project.

Aquari is actively reaching out to scientists, researchers, and people with experience in ocean/lake clean-ups. Volunteers and people that want to get involved are encouraged to contact us to coordinate local events for beach clean-ups and other opportunities to help our coastal communities.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Saving Our Oceans
Starts With You

Local Beach Clean-ups

Beaches are popular points of attraction all over the world. Unfortunately, lots of trash is left behind and ends up in the ocean. By collecting one bag of trash, you can change the life for the fishes of the sea.

Community Clean-ups

A good portion of waste that ends up in the oceans is from the mainland itself. Organizing a community clean-up will minimize the amounts of trash that ends up in local bodies of water.

Tell a Friend

Cleaning the oceans doesn't mean picking up trash, it means awareness. Tell a friend about the environmental impacts. Invite them to pick up after themselves and for those that failed to do so.

Why We Do It. Why We Care.

We hear about it over and over and yet, very little action is taken. Turtles get straws stuck up their nose. Sea lions unable to properly digest their foods and die because of plastics in their stomach. Whales literally washing up ashore to their demise. It's an absolute tragedy. We simply cannot wait any longer for inefficient governments to "address" the issue. We must do this now and we're going to make sure we fix this now.
